  1. Drain water from water shield. Soak in the water for 2 hours (change water for several times). Rinse. Parboil and set aside.
  2. Bring 3 cups of stock to the boil. Add water shield and bird’s nest. Cook over low heat for 2 minutes. Season with pinch of salt. Add ham shreds. Serve
