  1. Drain bird’s nest.
  2. Wash lotus seeds. Soak in water for 1 hour. Drain.
  3. Bring 2 cups of water to the boil. Add rock sugar. Cook until the sugar has dissolved. Strain. Pour the syrup into steaming pot. Then add lotus seeds. Stew over boiling water for 1 1/2 hours. Add bird’s nest and stew for 10 minutes. Serve.
